Dartmouth College Laboratory Upgrade
Laboratory Re-fitting
Phoenix Airflow Control Valves
Fume Hoods w/Phoenix Controls
Liebert Engineering worked directly with Dartmouth College to provide MEP design and engineering services to reconfigure multiple labs spaces in the Burke Hall Chemistry building.
Scope of the project involved space reconfiguration to combine lab spaces into larger lab units, each with revised lab furniture lay-out, equipment, fume hoods and controls in the spaces to better serve the new occupants. The existing ventilation system was a mix of VAV supply boxes and Phoenix pressure independent exhaust valves serving the fume hoods and general lab exhaust functions. This system was upgraded to a state of the art full Phoenix digital control system.
Space pressurization was maintained negative to meet applicable NFPA codes.
